Brea Angliss is a hugely exciting young racing talent embarking on her first full season of car-racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2023, as she looks to build a professional career within the motorsport industry.

Brea makes the transition to cars following an impressive six-year spell in karting, with eye-catching performances in both indoor and outdoor competition. In the latter, she was a regular top ten finisher during the 2017 PFI Summer Championships in Honda Cadets, before finishing as the third placed rookie in the Mini X30 class at PFI in 2019.

Indoor karting netted her consecutive Cadet class titles at TeamSport Warwick and Coventry, before she finished second in the national Kartchamps event in 2019. The current lap record holder in Coventry, she produced a sensational run in the 2022 British Indoor Karting Championships to finish eighth overall in the Junior National Finals from over 11,000 entrants.

Brea has started her Ginetta journey across the last couple of years, twice reaching the final of the competitive Junior Scholarship contest before making her on-track debut in the 2022 Winter Series. Immediately making her mark, she beat a number of more experienced drivers to record a best overall finish of 12th.

With an exciting combination of impressive raw speed and a natural flair for overtaking, Brea is certainly one to watch heading into 2023 and beyond.

GINETTA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

The Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running and most prestigious junior series. It offers the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14 to 17 year old racing drivers, who produce some of the most exciting, close-fought racing in global motorsport.

Over the last two decades, the championship has been a proving ground for the motorsport stars of the future, giving drivers the platform to learn the key skills and attributes needed to progress their careers both on and off track. Former drivers include F1 star Lando Norris and reigning BTCC champion Tom Ingram.

For 2023, the championship will be racing on one of the biggest race packages in the UK alongside the British GT Championship, as well as being part of two special standalone Ginetta race events.
