Blake Angliss has a GT4 title challenge in his sights as he returns to the British GT Championship grid this season, continuing his blossoming partnership with Mahiki Racing for a full assault on the prestigious GT series.

Angliss is preparing for his first full season in British GT after impressing across two partial campaigns over the past couple of years. Securing a class podium finish in only his fourth race in the championship in 2024, he added further silverware and a maiden class pole position last season.

The Coventry-based driver continues with Mahiki Racing after impressing them on and off track in 2025. Initially signing as a reserve driver and playing an integral role behind-the-scenes, he was duly promoted to a race seat and excelled with multiple podium results.

Alongside the continuity with the team, Angliss will also be behind the wheel of familiar machinery this season in their McLaren Artura GT4. He made his British GT debut in an Artura and is confident that his previous experience means he can hit the ground running this year.

The 22-year-old will be part of a GT4 Silver class entry this year alongside exciting teenage talent Revie Lake, who makes his British GT debut this year. This programme comes thanks to the crucial support of Angliss’ loyal personal partners YorPower, Transend UK and TrigPoint Security.

Angliss has some great commercial opportunities available for prospective partners to join him for his British GT programme this year. Interested parties are invited to get in touch with him via email for more information.

Blake Angliss: “I’m delighted to be returning to the British GT Championship grid for the 2026 season with Mahiki Racing. Last year, we ended on a high and it feels only natural to keep the momentum going into a second year together.

“I’m hugely thankful to the team for their support in me. We built up a great relationship last season and now moving to the McLaren, I believe we as a team can really make the package work and put together a GT4 title challenge this year.

“I know the McLaren and was quick in it back in 2024, so I’m confident I can hit the ground running in pre-season testing. Revie’s racing education in the Ginetta Juniors will serve him well and he’s been impressive in the McLaren in testing so far, so I think we make for a strong driver pairing.

“A huge thank you to my sponsors Transend UK, YorPower and Trigpoint for their support this year and allowing me to keep working towards my goals. I am confident that I have the ability to be one of the leading drivers on the GT4 grid this season and I’m excited to get out there and prove it.”

The British GT Championship is one of the world’s foremost domestic GT series, showcasing some of the most prestigious sportscars in motorsport through a successful two-class format for GT3 and GT4 machinery, with no less than 11 different marques represented on the grid in 2025.

The 2026 calendar will comprise of eight races, running from one to three hours in length, across six events. The championship will visit the best circuits in the UK, including Silverstone and Brands Hatch, alongside its traditional overseas trip to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Every qualifying session and race across the campaign will be streamed live and free globally via SRO’s GT World YouTube channel, while selected rounds are set to be broadcast live on the Sky Sports F1 channel in the UK.
