Brea Angliss Ready To Race In 2022 Ginetta Junior Winter Series

Karting talent Brea Angliss will make her car-racing debut in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series this weekend at Brands Hatch (12/13 November).

The 14-year-old starlet will follow in the footsteps of her brother Blake and make her car-racing bow in Ginetta competition, pitting herself against a competitive grid of 14 to 17 year old racers in the all-action Junior Championship.

The annual Winter Series will provide the perfect platform for her to cut her teeth, with two qualifying sessions and four races across the weekend giving her plenty of track time to gain experience from. She will be racing a Ginetta G40 prepared by the Alastair Rushforth Motorsport team.

Angliss is no stranger to a G40, having been behind the wheel of the 100hp racer in the last two Ginetta Junior Scholarship contests. Battling for the ultimate prize of a fully-funded season of racing, she twice impressed the judges and reached the final day of competition.

She makes her transition to car-racing after a promising year competing in the British Indoor Karting Championship. After qualifying through the local and regional competitions, she tackled the National final this past weekend in Warrington and finished a brilliant eighth overall in the Grand Final.

Rosland Gold Racing, the motorsport division of leading gold specialists Rosland Capital, will be supporting Angliss as she makes her Ginetta debut, with her G40 set to run an eye-catching gold, black and white livery.

Brea Angliss: ’“I’m very excited about stepping up to compete in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series after a solid performance in the Scholarship. As it is my first time around Brands Hatch, I know it’s going to be a steep learning curve, but I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.

"With a very competitive grid and a busy weekend with four races, this is an excellent opportunity to test myself and develop my skills ready for 2023. A huge thank you to everyone who made it possible.”

Stuart Kinner - Managing Director, Rosland Capital: "After such a successful season for Blake Angliss, Rosland Gold has great pleasure in sponsoring his younger sister, Brea, in the latest Junior Ginetta racing. Brea has been doing very well in karting over recent seasons and is now ready to step up into the Ginetta Junior race car.

"Rosland wishes Brea the very best and is proud to have the opportunity to help another up and coming racing talent. A few of the Rosland Gold Racing team are looking forward to being at Brands Hatch to cheer Brea on.”
